Cancer is found too late.

We are medical oncologists dedicated to cancer risk management and early detection.

A personalized program designed to assess individual risk and find cancer at Stage Alpha, the earliest point a confident, actionable determination can be made. Available through select primary care physicians.

Cancer Risk Management Built Around the Individual

Every year, cancers are diagnosed at an advanced stage, when cure is often no longer possible. Conventional screening was designed to detect the most common cancers in the general population, without regard for individual biology or risk.

PreOncology™ identifies each individual’s risk through dynamic risk modeling and matches surveillance to that risk. The program only recommends testing that matches the individual’s cancer risk profile.

Signals that are unexpected, changing, or unclear go to our Signal Board, where medical oncology, radiology, and molecular diagnostics review them together before any next steps are decided.

Cancer Found at Stage Alpha

The PreOncology Program™ is designed to detect cancer at Stage Alpha, the earliest point at which cancer can be definitively identified in an individual.

The program delivers continuous, personalized cancer risk management strategies calibrated to each member’s individual biology and risk profile, combining computational modeling, molecular diagnostics, and precision screening under the direct oversight of board-certified medical oncologists.

Built on Large-Scale Population Data

Our models are developed and validated using long-running population cohorts totaling more than 3 million participants, accessed under formal data use agreements including the UK Biobank, dbGaP, and other research data agreements.

A New Sub-Discipline of Oncology

Age-based screening guidelines address only a minority of the cancers adults are diagnosed with. In our professional judgment, adults between 40 and 70 should have access to oncologist-supervised, layered surveillance in addition to the screening their guidelines already recommend, because cancer found at an earlier stage is more often curable. That is where we believe precision medicine is heading. We built PreOncology to practice it.

Quotation mark

Every day a cancer is found late is a day the system failed someone. We have spent our careers on the receiving end of that failure. As oncologists, we wanted our expertise to reach patients earlier — at the point where prevention and very early detection is still possible. By partnering with primary care physicians, we finally can.
